My dear N.L.

With reference to our telephone conversation this morning, I enclose a list of European employees of the University, which I think is complete.

In addition to these Europeans, there are 15 Chinese on the Teaching Staff, and on the Clerical Staff of the University there are 22. These are a mixed crowd and nearly all Chinese.

I also enclose for your information, a statement of payments being made to the debit of the University's current account here, and the income expected to be received from securities deposited with us.

I hope this information may be of some help to you.
